We made a quick trip to Virginia this weekend to attend Sam's Grandma's funeral. On the way back home, we passed through Danville, VA and got to spend some time with our friends from Hawaii that we hadn't seen in 2 years - Jon, Suzanna and Eliana Uyboco. It was great to catch up with one another and watch the girls interact and play together. It's a blessing to have such strong friendships that endure both distance and time! Sorry VA Beach friends, but we didn't have time to come to the "southside", we'll have to get there on our next trip to VA!!

I'm sorry to hear about Sam's Grandma. He's had so much loss in the past few years! How wonderful it was though that you were closer this time so you guys could go be with family. And a happy bonus that you could meet up with old friends!!
So sorry about what happened. Hope everyone is doing ok. I guess southside VA will try not to be offended. :) Definitely let us know when you make it out this way again!
