With Grandpa in town, Sam and I had a rare night out! Apparently, as soon as we had closed the door to leave, Sydney announced to Grandpa, "It's party time!" Ya, we're such a bummer! We were able to go to the largest Canada Day party in the Southeast and celebrate Canada Day, even if it was a few days early. I had no idea that there were so many Canadians or those who had ties to Canada, that lived in the Atlanta area. All of my Canadian friends will appreciate the fact that there was a Great Big Sea cover band as well as poutine and Nanimo bars!
