We spent Christmas in Ontario this year. Since there was no snow, we weren't able to go tobogganing as we had hoped, but we were able to take Sydney skating for the first time. She was planning to jump on the ice and perform a "show", so was quickly surprised at how tough it was! She did catch on really quickly and by the end of the hour, she was able to skate holding on with one hand only. Pop Pop took her again a couple of days later, and by then she could skate some unassisted. Jonah enjoyed sliding around on the ice too!
