This week is Vacation Bible Camp at our church and we're doing a Rescue 911 theme. Each day, in addition to learning a Bible story, the kids are learning about a different emergency responder. Today, they learned about God's Rules (The 10 Commandments) and all about policeofficers, who help us follow the rules. There were several police officers and vehicles there for the kids to see and the kids made police officer uniforms for their craft today. Even Jonah's class participated in the vest-painting project! Both Sydney and Jonah were thrilled to show off their "uniforms" although Sydney was a bit more cooperative when it came to picture taking today. This was Jonah's first painting experience, although it's not really obvious in the photos, since he painted the back side of his vest only!!
