This past weekend, we travelled to the Carolina coast to visit Sam's family and enjoy some prolonged Christmas festivities. It was so wonderful to be back at the beach again - even if it's not exactly like the turquoise Hawaiian waters! Sam's parents rented a beachfront condo for us to stay at, so we could hear the constant roll of the waves. Sydney enjoyed some fun time with her big cousin, Makayla (age 5). We were fortunate to be able to spend time with both of our families this holiday season.
