Today we took Sydney to see some of her best friends - Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha and Austin. For those of you who don't know, they're the Backyardigans, a popular kids TV show on Nick Jr. They were putting on a performance in Charlotte, NC, about 3 hours away, but it was the closest to Atlanta that they were coming. We figured it was the perfect birthday present for her and it was; as well as a great chance for us to do something special with her before her brother arrives. It was nice that he cooperated and "stayed put" so that we didn't have to visit any hospitals between here and Charlotte! She really enjoyed the show and was singing along with the gang during it and she's been talking about it ever since!
