After five months of ballet and tap lessons, Sydney hit the stage for the first time today for her much anticipated dance recital! Grandma flew down for the occasion. It was held in the auditorium of Mill Creek High School. They had a dress rehearsal the night before to help prepare everyone for the big day! As expected, Sydney loved being in the spotlight and had a blast being on stage! She was very focused. Her class of 3 and 4 year old girls performed two dances - One Love by Bob Marley was their ballet number and they also did a Hawaiian Hula tap dance. It was amusing to watch as each girl was always doing something different than the other!! We couldn't help but comment how cute Sydney looked in her dance costume too!!
