Today was the day that I finally agreed to Sydney's request to take her EZ bake oven out of the box and make a cake. This oven is advertised as not needing any batteries or outlets, so I was a bit uncertain as to how anything would actually bake in it, as it uses "cool air technology". So, basically you place some ice cubes in a tray on the bottom shelf of the oven and place the pan above it. I was beginning to wonder how "safe" these cakes really were... Sydney was certainly excited to taste her creation and devoured it. However, I soon noticed that she had eaten only one of the two cakes that had been made. When I asked her if she was going to eat the other, she replied, "No, they taste like play-do cakes!"
