Today I took Sydney to her first dentist appointment. She was very excited to go and seemed well prepared since we have been reading a Dora the Explorer book, "Show Me Your Smile" several times where Dora goes to the dentist for the first time. In the car on the way to the appointment, we passed a McDonalds. Sydney proclaimed, "I don't want to go to Old MacDonalds, I want to go to the dentist!" Sure hope this enthusiasm continues! She handled it like a pro and was thrilled to get a Princess Ariel toothbrush at the end. The countdown is on to her next appointment in 6 months!
