Happy Birthday Daddy!

It's been a while since I've updated our blog, so have to go back a few weeks to keep you updated on what we've been up to. Sydney absolutely loves birthdays, and not just her own! She loves the whole idea of it - singing Happy Birthday, having a cake, balloons and presents and of course, having a party! On any given day, she will proclaim that it is someone's birthday, sing to them and ask where the cake is! Often, she says that it is Daddy's birthday, so on October 23, she was in luck, it was indeed Daddy's actual birthday! And a party was definitely in order! So, after a nice dinner out at California Dreaming, we came home to have "Daddy's birthday party"! She had been telling me that Daddy wanted a Spiderman cake and a xylophone for his birthday. I have no idea where she got either idea from. Fortunately, Publix had Batman cupcakes which she was agreeable to, I guess since we followed the superhero theme! As for the xylophone, guess Sam will have to wait until Christmas for that... Jonah just took it all in, and was a great sport about wearing the party hat (which we recycled from Sydney's birthday!) Most importantly, we had a great time celebrating Daddy's birthday together!
